Our original aim was to open a public charter school. Our petition was nearly finished when March of 2020 hit. The charter school moratorium and budget cuts to education pushed us in another direction. We wanted to offer full-time private education as well as support homeschooling children. With the state deeming schools to be non-essential, we saw that we could provide a service to homeschool families by offering a rich Charlotte Mason curricular program as well as supplying agricultural skills and instruction.
